Xavier Jopart is the founder of Fisheye Consulting. He is a management consultant with deep expertise across various sectors in Europe, the Middle-East, Asia, and Africa.
Xavier owns a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the UCL University, Belgium
Xavier started his professional career at the Brussels office of McKinsey & Company, a leading management consultancy and transferred to Dubai in 2001 where he worked for 6 years. He also worked as a director at Finalta, a McKinsey subsidiary specialised in banking and insurance benchmarking, where he was responsible for managing client relationships with a number of financial institutions in Europe and the Middle-East.
Since the beginning of his independent consulting career, 15 years ago, Xavier has been advising banks, insurance companies, governments and SMEs in Europe, the Middle-East, North Africa, and Asia.
Throughout his career, Xavier worked extensively in Financial Services with a particular focus on Islamic Finance, leading relationships with some of the most prominent players in the Arabian Gulf Region. He has built deep knowledge in fields such as strategy and greenfield development of banks, product design, organisation and performance management, governance, financial management, marketing and regulation.
